Exponential increase in spam emails

I have seen an exponential increase in spam, continuing to grow, since the transition to Yahoo Mail.  I am quite unhappy with it.  To be honest, coxmail has been a primary reason I have stayed with C...

    Cox doesn't own cox.net email domain anymore, so they literally can do nothing to help. It's not like Cox will buy the domain back or transfer it to anyone else. They have washed their hands of the situation. 

    I suggest finding a new email provider. There are many free options like Gmail. Proton, iCloud mail, Outlook.com and so on. You can keep the cox.net email now even if you cancel Cox(since it no longer has anything to do with Cox) so you can set up rules to forward all new email to the new provider and slowly start telling people your new email address. It's really not a good idea to use the email service of ANY ISP. Not only are they usually subpar but they make you dependent on staying with the ISP.
