Does this new Cox Gigablast cable modem DOCSIS 3.1 also include a phone modem jack/slot for the Cox phone service?

$179.9.09 DOCSIS 3.1 (No WiFi) Modem (Purchase) Gigablast uses the latest technology, DOCSIS 3.1, to give you the absolute fastest speeds. An additional WiFi Router is required to enable wireless connectivity.

Does this new Cox Gigablast cable modem also include a phone modem jack/slot for the Cox phone service?

    Sorry...I didn't read all of your question.

    If you want telephone service (Cox Voice, landline, etc), Cox will issue the modem to you.  It'll be a free loan so don't lose it.  It'll be a free loan...if you avoid the combo router units.

    Hi,

    That is a great question. No, that modem will require you to have a 3rd-party router for Wi-Fi. Also, you will also need a modem provided to you by us for the digital telephone service. The modem that you will need for the telephone service will be provided at no charge.

    COX must issue their TM3402s to be used for telephony, independently purchased ones will not work.  Thankfully, it's "included" with their telephony service - though you may need to request over the "brick" modem that does have wifi.
