Cox starting to Yahoo email service.

So is Cox dropping their email service and how will this affect my account? I am confused here.

Cox Communications is transitioning all email service and support for cox.net to Yahoo Mail. This means that existing Cox users will be automatically moved to Yahoo Mail, and will need to learn a new login process via the Yahoo site.

                    I understood that part.

Customers will be able to keep their email address, messages, folders, calendar, and contacts.

    Does this mean I can still receive any email that is sent to yogi_bear@cot.net or can I still use my Cox email to send email?

    Hello

    To answer your question, yes,  emails will still arrive at your email address.  If you try to log into webmail after the transition, you will be redirected to Yahoo. Please let us know if that answer your question.
