Browsers won't automatically sign you into a website; however, if you save your credentials within the browser, a shortcut (icon) can launch the sign-in page with your username and password waiting for you to press Enter.
Shortcuts are easy to create but we'd need your specific browser program for the proper step-by-steps.
Hi, Bruce. This is a serious question. With your credentials saved, can you really get Cox's webmail to launch by just pressing the Enter key? I have to click "Sign In" or hit the tab key 17 times to advance to the Sign In button and then pressing Enter will work. That's with Chrome. IE takes 21 tabs... seriously. It always annoys me that Cox's programmers won't set the focus on the "Sign In" button (if the User Id and Password boxes are filled in) and launch the program with just an Enter key press. If you know a feasible workaround, I would seriously like to know what it is. Thanks.

As far as I know, you have to click Sign-in. Firefox has my credentials already loaded, so that's what I can do.

Thanks, Bruce. It seems to me that the primary function of the Cox webmail sign in page should be to sign in to Cox webmail. So wouldn't it make sense to design that page to expedite the sign in process? The way to do that would be to set the tab focus on the tab fields that are used for webmail, i.e. User ID, Password or Sign In. All the other tab fields would still be available, but the first blank field of these three should be the default. If User ID and Password are pre-filled, set the focus on Sign In and webmail could be launched by pressing the Enter key. Come on, Cox. Make this simple change.

I would suggest finding another link into your account with a closer "focus" to the sign-in field.
I think any Cox sign-in page should be a portal into your entire account. Meaning, if you sign-in from one page...for example, Cox Forums...you should have access to all features of your Cox subscription: email, resets, billing, the forum etc.
I don't know if a portal link with a closer-focus exists...maybe...or at least a page with fewer tab hops. I found one page and its first tab-hop read: Skip to Main Content. "Main Content" is the sign-in field. I clicked that link and it kinda cleaned up the page with fewer hops. That link then took only one tab to get to the sign-in field. See if this bookmark would work better for you.
