I recently moved to COX Fiber and currently have a COX provided ONT, and the Panoramic WiFi Router provided by COX.
I want to use my existing Netgear Nighthawk router as a range extender - I'm struggling to figure out how to accomplish this - I've gone through the COX WiFi app and can't find any settings I think would make a difference.
Does anyone have suggestions or help you might provide?
ccraig Hi, you won't be able to set up the Netgear as a range extender with the Cox Wifi App. I'm so sorry but that's something that we don't support. Setup your Nighthawk as an access point, and run an ethernet cable from the pano modem to the Netgear. Ensure you setup the SSID and WPA key the same as on the pano modem, to have the access point act as a mesh network.
