Changing the modem I have for a newer and faster one

Is the ARRIS SURFboard SB6141 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem compatible with Cox?

    Yes, but it is older. You should look at the SB8200 or something similar. The SB6141 isn't much of an upgrade.
