Can't connect Panaromic Router to Amazon Smart Thermostat

I recently bought a new Amazon Alexa smart thermostat.  My alexa app showed about 15 other WIFI networks available but just not mine.  I powered the router off, waited 2 minutes then powered it back ...

Have you tried splitting the bands, AKA disabling band steering? See here for instructions how.
