Bridge Mode with non cox modem/router

I have a TP Link Archer CR700 modem/router and want to use it just as a modem so I can use my TPlink AX3000 as my router. Besides logging into the CR700 and enabling bridge mode followed by a reboot is there anything else I need to do in order for this to work? Do I need to contact Cox before doing this?

I have not set the CR700 to bridge mode yet currently it is running its modem/router duties simultaneously. The endgame is to have it only conduct the modem duties and have the AX3000 as the router

    you're using a pass through + i don't think cox cares.

i do a pass thru my pano unit to run a router for 2 older laptops.
