Add second modem?

Is it possible to add a second modem to my internet connection?  If so, will I be charged another monthly internet fee?  I could really use a 2nd ethernet connection and the devices I want to connect via ethernet are not located close to each other.

    Hello Duffer,

    If you want to add another modem to your connection, you will have to have another internet service. You can add a wireless router if your modem is a stand-alone. If it a modem/router then I recommend getting a switch with multiple ethernet connections.
