Yeah. They tout optimized numbers, but every body does it. I got the same answer on my Harley when I asked about their proclaimed mileage I wasn't getting. Come to find out that number came from putting the motor on a dyno and not in normal use. It's not a lie, just not reality. We've grown accustomed to misstatement acceptance. Sigh.
I was getting about 60/10 Mbps or so, so I was hoping for better for a 150 Mbps line. Both the laptop and the desktop system get about the same, but the iPad gets close to 200 Mbps of so. I guess I have to be satisfied with what I have or go fish. I had repeaters for a while on my network, but when they died I didn't notice much difference, so I never replaced them. Maybe now that I have better speed potential it would be worth replacing them.
