I have the exact same issue. Plus they are charging me for data overages when the panoramic router eats 8GB per day with its own security updates which comes out to 240GB per month the amount most users are getting billed for.
We found tge solution. Read through the comments. Tldr, only port 4 is 2Gbps

Keep in mind that 2.5 Gb port is a WAN port. If you Fiber, that port will be using by Cox. My solution was purchasing a 3rd party router that had multiple 2.5 Gb ports. Btw, this routher a very fast wifi 7 device and I am now getting 2.2 GB wired and 1.5 Gb wirelss (near the router) using wifi 7 MIMO. The Wifi 6 devices still get 200 to 300 Mb, without any kind of repeater. IT has much better range than the default Cox Router.
