The cox error msg CXBL says the "sending" address is being blocked because it is an abusing address.
Sure enough ... if you do a web search on 146.20.112.67 ... several web sites report 80 or 90 abuses from that address.
But i am being blocked from sending from Portugal ... a 79.xxx.xxx.xxx address ... not a 146.xxx.xxx.xxx address.
I am not doing anything wrong. It looks like some software in use by cox is routing my mail attempts thru the 146 address.
This looks like something cox has to fix. We users are powerless to fix this.

P.S. i don't want to scare anyone ... but it must be asked ... Could that 146 address have been collecting confidential and identity-theft data from thousands ... nay millions ... of emails ... that have been routed to that address over what time period? ... 3 or more years?

P.P.S.
Another disturbing question:
Is U.S. mail being sent thru the 146 address as well as non-U.S. mail?
That is ... is mail sent from US ip addresses being sent to and forwarded by the 146 address ... but, for some reason, the 146 address is not forwarding (or cannot forward?) mail sent from non-US ip addresses?
If so, a huge amount of mail is going to or thru the 146 address.

P.P.P.S.
I forgot to mention:
Web sites that show info on ip addresses show that the 146.20.112.67 ip address is hosted by Rackspace Hosting ... and the address seems to be related in some way to Dulles Virginia or San Antonio Texas.
This is as far as i can take it.
Cox will have to dig deeper to find out who is "behind" that 146 ip address.

Are you kidding me?
The entire thread above is about how we cannot send email via cox mail when out of the country.
Any mail i send to you (while i am in portugal) via the cox email setup will be rejected with a Cox CXBL error message that complains about a 146.20.112.67 IP address.
(My typos above of "140" should be "146".)
Besides you should not be wasting more customer time on this problem ... which has been reported hundreds of times by many different cox users.
You should have a cox employee in a foreign country be investigating this CXBL problem.
