If it doesn't work with the Apple mail app, try another app/client like Airmail.
I actually prefer SPARK, or outlook. I know that using APPLE and Microsoft in the same sentence is some kind of heresy, but - - -/
Yea, I am no iPhone expert. My mother has one but I don't get many chances to use it. I just got my Pixel 7 which I am really excited about.
I use a samsung S22 ultra, I used to beta test for Apple, so have have a hands on familiarity with all of their products.
