Home Life Touchscreen CLOCK

That is ridiculous! You take away an app that probably 99.9% of users have on the touchscreen MOST of the time...to “allow for future product enhancement.” So I am guessing your process for enhancement starts with degrading the current version without an immediate enhancement. When are these “future product enhancements” scheduled for release? And will they include restoring the clock? If they do not, that will be a gross error. 

Sounds like the typical Cox answer.  ddefinitely depended on that large LED display. 

KevinM2 why do we need a Homelife touchscreen when we can just use our phones to manage. So far CoX has taken the weather and clock away. It is ridiculous that Cox would remove the functionality of the clock. Was this to save Cox money yet continue to have customers paid the same price.

This explanation without a timeline is laughable and embarrassing.  Question I ask, how many people are happy about the change?  Answer = None   To make matters worse, we find out after the fact, after several reboots, we think something must be wrong with the tablet... Nope, we removed the app as part of future improvements...

First I lose the weather app, and now the clock.  I hope some type of clock on a home screen returns.  As of now, my large screen has only 2 apps on it.

Nice corporate answer KevinM2. Let me break it down for everyone. His answer is TOTAL BS. The clock app doesn't take up any storage space. There is no reason you cant provide a clock feature. I have never once armed my alarm with the tablet. I use it for the clock. This is probably an attempt by COX to force us to all upgrade to a new device that will come online next year. My contract is up at the end of this month. I cant wait to take a baseball bat to the stupid tablet. 

What is this genius roadmap that you are vaguely alluding to that is going to upset 99% of your loyal customer base? I saw this update push through the other day but had no clue it would wipe out the ability to have the clock app until I restarted my panel out of frustration multiple times and to no avail and luckily found this post.
Whoever is directing this decision that led us to this place should be fired immediately. Let your bosses bosses bosses boss know that this could lose customers that have been using this product since it launched or soon after. (2012) I don’t really need the alarm system anymore with all the Wyze cameras and sensors I have along with the Nest doorbell. I was really just paying 34 dollars a month for the digital clock that no longer works so guess I will cancel that now and wish you didn’t have a monopoly on cable and internet.
