contour app for kindle

Hello, will I be able to use the contour app on a new Kindle fire tablet,   thanks

    HI Becky,   so I need an OS of  4.0.3 or higher,  the kindle is 5.6.1   so the Contour app should work?  I searched the forum and saw answers from a couple of years ago and it wouldn't work on the kindle back then.  thanks

      Hi Conrad1, as I understand it, early Kindle devices used a customized version of Android OS. The Contour App is not compatible with these devices. Fire OS 4.0.3 (and higher) is based on the Android API, so the Contour App should be compatible with newer Kindle devices running Fire OS 4.0.3 or higher. -Becky, Cox Support Forums Moderator
