Remove cable box on residence

Is it okay to remove the cable box on side of my house?  I no longer have cox cable.  If I ever go back I figure new technology and wiring will be needed anyway. The panel box and wires are so extinct.

Yes, once anything is added to the home for service.  It becomes the property of the homeowner. Customers can relocate or remove any of these enclosures and cables from the side of their home.
