I know most splitters used in cable internet are 5mhz to 1ghz, but does having a 5mhz to 2.4ghz benefit any?
Also I have one that is a 2 way power pass splitter.
Is that good or bad for cable internet?

A power-passing splitter is for special purposes, such as powering a signal amplifier in your attic from an outlet in your bedroom.
