I just received a new router because I received notification that my old one was outdated. Now I can't get the new one to connect to the network. I followed all dirctions and all cables are hooked up correctly and securely. Still no luck.

Hello. I am sorry that you're having trouble setting up the new equipment. I do want to be sure that you are referring to a modem? Once the modem is received, we need to activate it as they do not come activated by mail. We would be happy to look into this for you and address your concerns. When you have a moment, can you please email cox.help@cox.com with name, address, and link to forum thread so we can assist? You can also reach us on Twitter/X at @CoxHelp, visit us on Facebook, or at cox.help@cox.com.

Do you mean a Panoramic gateway like the PW8? If so, what light do you have on it? Is the new gateway on the same outlet as the old one?
