Data usage by device

I know this has been asked before, but it looks like it's been awhile and before I quit Cox for another provider I figured I'd try this.

Spikes in data usage have me trying to determine which devices are responsible so that I can address the issue. However, this does not seem to be possible, which to me is absolutely and 100% ridiculous and unacceptable.

So I beg the question: is there a way, either on the website or the app, to determine how much data an individual device is using on my network?

If this is something that used to be available and then removed, then I can only assume the motivation is entirely greed by Cox so that they can artificially spike people's data usage in order to charge them more money.

Hello. I'm very sorry but we aren't able to tell you how much bandwidth a device is using nor will the WIFI app. It won't show bandwidth usage per device or detailed device usage statistics. I would recommend using the WIFI app though to make sure no other devices that you are unaware of aren't connected to and using your WIFI. If they are you can remove them an I would recommend at that time to change your WIFI name and password if that is happening. There are 3rd party apps that can monitor bandwidth usage to help you determine which devices is the one using all the bandwidth.

Thank you

Hi Nouseforaname. Yes, this used to be a feature. However, it's no longer available.
