If you have 1 TV and limit your formats to nothing above HD (3D, UHD), 1 TB should be fine. I did the math to stream 30 days a month at 12 hours a day without stopping or pausing, and it totaled below 1 TB. Add another simultaneous TV and you'd probably need unlimited.
