Bandwidth problems
I have paid for 500 Mb service and seldom receive it. Speedtest is usually around 25 to 50 Mb. Sometimes as little as 5MB. I live in Topeka, Ks and checked speedtest to both Wichita and Omaha Cox servers.
I can change to a local server from another company and get the 500 Mb so I know it isn't my line.
Cox seems to have an internal problem.

Are you testing with WiFi or via a direct connection / ethernet? Testing over WiFi isn't accurate.
