I previously had DVR with other service providers in the past and I am used to being able to watch a dvr recorded show in any room of the house by recording it on the main box. Is this not the case with COX DVR? If I press the DVR List button on the remote in any other room I get an error. Shouldn't I be able to view these recordings in any room but only able to record from the main box or something like that?
Thanks for your help in advance!

Jetzon627,
What DVR are you using? What IPG? Trio (Contour)? Was your WHDVR system "Pro Installed"?

The main box is a Cisco 8742HDC. The box in the other rooms are a 4742HDC. I am not sure what an IPG is? A subcontractor who worked for Cox installed the system.

I am honestly not sure, I would have wanted it that way for sure. I am not sure though. All the cables meet at a box outside. How can I tell if it were done that way?
