upgrading modem
I saw a pop up message on the web page I should upgrade my modem for greater speeds. It said it was from cox so my question is is this correct? My modem is a SBV5222.

I think if you have Premier and above your eligible for a free upgrade to a DOCSIS 3.0 modem. I think they might have to send a Technician out though, because it would be replaced with another internet/phone modem like your SBV5222, probably a DPQ3212. Just got one myself. They are nice, just a little light in the diagnostic area. Best bet is to call and find out. If your worried, just call Cox direct, but I have heard of this before, so it sounds legit.
