For weeks now I have not been able to watch A&E HD, DiscoveryHD or UniversalHD. It says "Temporarily off air". Please check back later. What is going on?

Does this happen on all TVs in your home? I would also suggest disconnecting power to the box for two minutes and recoonecting to reboot it.

Yes. We have 2 HDDVR's. The same channels show "temporarily not available". I hae tried rebooting but did not work.

If both boxes are doing the same thing it sounds as if there is a signal issue or perhaps something isn't right on your account. I would invite you to call in and speak with our technical support to troubleshoot further what is going on.

What's going on is customers around the country receiving temporarily offline channels. It's a Cox problem so save yourself $70 to dispatch a "technician."

I just reliazed that all the channels on my cable are now HD. This would be okay but it sure slows down the channel slection process. Why has this been done? Does anyone know?
