TV Programming
I would like to suggest that Cox develop a program select package. Call it "BASIC PLUS"
This package would allow customers to select the channels they want to see instead of viewing every channel under your current packages.
How "BASIC PLUS" Works: The package would start with the Cox Basic Package and the customer would choose a package that would give you 10 additional channels OF YOUR CHOICE for a price; 20 channels OF YOUR CHOICE for a price and so on. Of course “Premium Channels” i.e. HBO, Showtime, Cinemax would carry premium prices.
Let's face it; everybody does not like every channel. This would allow you customers to enjoy the channels they choose.

AMEN!!! But,.....the problem with the STARTER PKG., (Basic), is it is about 80% comprised of News, Shopping channels, Church, Governmental, Infomercials, and a 1 or 2 channels with 30-50 year old shows. (I don't have a problem with Church, but there are TOO many channels consumed with it the majority of the week). As I suggested before...I challenge the HIGHER UPS that control Package Programming to find anything worth while to watch on the Starter pkg. (Especially on weekends when there is NOTHING worth watching. Those of us who can't afford the higher pkgs. should be just as important as the people that can. I've been loyal to Cox 30 years and feel it is not reciprocated. Instead of offering NEW CUSTOMERS all of the deals...how about offering some to the ones that have been paying you FOR YEARS! I don't need a Bundle...I just want decent T.V. to watch since we are forced to pay for it now. I don't want to leave Cox....but I don't even bother to turn on my television much anymore because there is nothing to watch.

I agree. al la carte is something the cable instrustry has fought against for decades. Cox already doesn't make as much money on cable anymore. Doubt they will do something to decrease that profit even more.
