Transferring Services
I'm right in the middle of a move, from an apartment to a house, and am having trouble transferring my services.
I hit the move or transfer option under my account, and once I get through typing the address in, it takes me to order new services. If I do this, I'll have to pay ANOTHER deposit, and extra fees, on top of what I already owe/deposited. I need to know how to just get a transfer, without having to order everything and spend extra money.

Under the Move Your Services tab, there are two options: New Customers and Current Cox Customers.
I read the fine print for Current Cox Customers, and there are a few "upgrades" available at promotional rates. Read carefully. Also, you must move your current Cox equipment to your new house.
Have a great move!

I get that, but it won't just accept my move location. It's trying to MAKE me buy new services, and if that's going to be the case I'm not going to stay with them. I've already paid 2 deposits for TV and Internet, a third for both that I've paid a deposit for already isn't going to fly with me.

I would call them up over just using the website, it will save you a lot of headache. By all means, price shop online, but when you make your choice, your a lot better off calling in. Not only are some national deals which are listed on the site not available in your area, but some sites actually direct you through 3rd party resellers of Cox service, who care more about the quick sale then you getting the best deal IMHO.

Hi, Tripcee. Sorry for the delayed reply. If you're still having issues with your account, please email us at coxhelp@cox.com. As this is an account-specific issue, this thread will now be locked. Thanks!
