T3 timeout!!

I been having this time outs for 4 days already. I've had t3 time outs before but it was because i had an old splitter on my modem line but that was over 5-4 months ago and the problem was fixed by taking the splitter off.

On 5/6 I had a tech come out and switch the splitter that ran into my house.

My modem is on its on dedicated line into the wall with no splits. I went and replaced my modem on the techs request and the timeouts stopped until now at the writing of this post.

Hi, I'd like to investigate these issues you're having with your connection a little further.  Can you send an email to cox.help@cox.com with the account information?  I'll take a look at the modem logs as well as the signal levels.

Wouldn't it be easier if the forum attached account info to every user? Or can you not do that since Cox outsources  the forum website?  People could still make what ever username they want, but it would tie to the Cox login you use while creating the account. It would also limit the amount of private information Cox is requesting customer top send through a insecure method.

No doubt it would be easier. But probably wasn't done originally because the forum was not intended for, therefore not designed for, customers to address posts directly to Cox. Like it was a Cox support forum or something, notwithstanding the name, "Support Forums", and the fact that you reach it from cox.com>support>support forums>ask a TV, Internet, Phone question.

Should be renamed Support Groups. Just a bunch of folks with similar experiences using Cox products and services helping one another cope.

True. Wrote a longer reply but didn't want to sidetrack thread anymore.
