Hi,
I’m not sure I’m getting the internet speeds I’m paying for. I’m a Preferred Package subscriber and am getting 7 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload. I believe I should be getting at least 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload speeds.
I upgraded to a Motorola SB6121, DOCSIS 3.0 modem a few months ago, but have not noticed any improvement. Can you check my account to see if it is coded correctly?
Many thanks.

The configuration file issue only effect people who have Premier, not preferred, so I don't think it's that, but someone at Cox is welcome to check.
First, what are the signal levels of your modem? You can find them at 192.168.100.1
Next, what test are you doing show those speeds?
Last, what does your network consist of? Do you have a router, and if so have you tried bypassing it?
