SEC network (channel 77)

why can I not receive SEC network 77 on my TV's that do not have HD box but can receive both 77 and 1077 on those sets with boxes?  The sets without boxes are capable of receiving channel 77.

Because the SEC Network is encrypted digital, not analog or ClearQAM digital.

The SEC Network is a part of the Digital Essential tier (Advance TV) in your area. This channel that requires a receiver or a cablecard in order to view it.
