What routers can I use with my internet connection? I currently have the D-Link N300 Router and Cisco DPQ3212 Modem. They were installed over a year ago when I bundled my service. The router doesn't seem to be working correctly. My internet connection keeps dropping. Thanks

Currently we're recommending that routers have a minimum of gigabit Ethernet ports (as opposed to just 10/100 ports), wireless-N (or better, such as wireless-ac), and dual-band is preferred over single-band.

It sounds more like a wireless problem then a router problem. Its best not to throw money at a issue. If your talking about the Dlink DIR-615, did you buy it from Cox? Was it installed by Cox?
Can you describe the problem in more technical detail? Does it effect all computers on network? Wired and wireless? When it drops, can you atleast see the network in the list? Does it give a error when you try to connect? That sort of thing.
