remote control not working

Do the lights on the remote light up at all when your press the buttons? If not, the remote is probably broken.

If it does light up,  the batteries might have run out, and lost it's memory, so even with new batteries, it might need to be reprogrammed. What kind of remote do you have?

Also, when you say it doesn't work, do you mean for anything? Volume? Channel up and down? Power?

Hi olis 07, first make sure the batteries are inserted correctly. When you press the cable button does it light up? What model remote do you have? Look on the back for a model number.
