Random Disconnects

This is the first time I've ever experienced any hiccup's with Cox's internet service. For the past 3 days, the connect would randomly disconnect, and reconnect after about 1 minute. Sometimes the internet just stays offline for an extended period. Was wondering if this problem is on my end, or Cox's end.

The signal levels being last reported by the modem before it went offline are looking pretty horrible.  Are there any extra splitters you could try removing to see if that helps?  I'd also suggest checking any coax cabling you have access to for damage or loose fittings.

Thank you for your response. I shut off my computer when it was disconnected last. I will be able to get back home later tonight to check the coax cabling. This cable was actually the newest one installed in our home by a very helpful Cox Technician when I had service transferred back in October.

Just disconnect at 8:31pm and came back on in 2-3 minutes.

Those would all definitely be symptoms of the problem I described.  Sounds like the sooner somebody comes out the better.
