press any key timer
my cable box goes to a black screen and says press any key every 15 minutes. how do I stop this from occurring? its very frustrating especially for my kids. help! thanks.

Are you watching TV, or are you playing back a recording? If it's a DVR, it's supposed to go "Live TV" if you leave the pause activated for 15 minutes or so. There are also various timers. Your symptoms sound like a mixture of problems. What is the model number of your "box" ?
