Hi!
I recently upgraded from preferred to premier but my upload and download speeds have not changed. :(...I'm still running 20-25 mbps download speeds.. I'm on a Motorola SB5101 modem and a Linksys E 120 router..Is there something that needs to be done to fix this problem?

Sounds like your reaching the practical limit of a D2 modem. In most cases you won't get above 24Mbps. I would first look into getting a DOCSIS 3.0 modem and then when you call to get it added, make sure they change the service code on your account to reflect that you have a DOCSIS 3.0 modem.

"Note: DOCSIS 3.0 devices are required for all new Preferred, Premier, Premier Plus (where available), and Ultimate tier customers. Current Cox customers on those tiers should ensure they have a DOCSIS 3.0 device in order to consistently receive optimal speeds"
