Plan with sufficient data cap?

I got messages when on the Premier tier that I was exceeding my data cap, so I upgraded to Ultimate. Now I'm exceeding it on Ultimate. I have an extremely Internet-active household with several people using streaming video and music, lots of connected devices, people working from home over VPN, online gaming, etc. so I don't think I'll see my data usage going down much. As I understand it, I am at the highest tier of residential service so it doesn't seem to be an option to do as Cox suggests and upgrade to a higher tier plan. What are the options? If I switch to a Business connection, does the bandwidth cap increase or go away? I'm willing to pay for the bandwidth I use, but Cox doesn't seem to provide a sufficient option for me to do that, at least in the Residential offerings.

Business services actually does have a small office/home office offering that may be a good fit for your situation.  Besides not having monthly data allowances it also offers a static IP address which may be useful for game hosting as well as priority SLA for situations where a technician is required.

Nothing beats a layer 2 connection for gaming. Cox Business(CB) will provide you with a new modem, and then you can buy a switch and bridge up to 7 IP's so every game system can have it's own IP.Could do 8 but you would need 16port switch, which might be a little much.  How much each IP cost,or if they are static or dynamic depends on your area, but doesn't hurt to call them and ask.

Be warned though, you would lose some things switching completely to a CB account. Cox.net email, certian Cox video applications, are a few off the top of my head, but CB will give you a new domain with email accounts if you want them.
