phone not working
Phone modem has the power light on and the ds light is blinking I have tried resetting modem and still phone does not work.I keep getting message of sorry cant talk your call right now.

By resetting do you mean the reset button on the back? If so, check cable connections going into the phone modem. If those are good, are any of your other services detected? If not, then you might want to call and see if anything is going in in your area.

Hi Craige,
Are you getting a dial tone when you first pick up the receiver? I there is no dial tone, and Trikein's suggestions below don't restore the dial tone, I'd like to take a closer look for you. So that I can verify your account, please email my team at coxhelp@cox.com.
