Ongoing problems with contour system

I continue to have problems with my contour system. While it has greater capabilities than the two DVRs I used to have, it is not nearly as reliable. I've had the main box replaced and several service calls. Do others have problems with not being able to bring up recorded shows, particularly on the Cisco box that is not the main box. Sometimes I can get the recorded show to come up by going to the main box and starting to play the show, stopping it, then starting the show up on the other box. Having to do this regularly gets really old.
