On Demand

Why are TV shows not showing up on On Demand.  ie.  Witches of East End.  There are a few on ABC as well.

Hi, power cycle the cable box by unplugging the power cord for about 2 minutes, then plug it back in, allow up to 30 minutes for the guide information to download. Then try to locate the episode by using the search feature. By the way which episode of Witches of East End are you looking for?

Cox has a "known issue" with On Demand content not being posted in a timely manner, that's been going on since at least the beginning of October (yes, that means it's taken them this long to NOT fix it).

Forget about rebooting your box, because that won't fix it. You'd have better luck bringing in a witch doctor.

You don't get an answer from Cox at all.  They don't address the issue just state that you should reboot your cable box or that it is a supplier problem.  If an series has 5 shows in HD and only 3 with the regular,,, It's not a supplier issue. It's a cox issue.

Ask Lifetime why WoEE isn't on OnDemand. Which ABC shows?

To answer your question Domino, read the post from Chris (COX Forum Moderator) added on 10/31/14 at 7:54 AM. COX admits that it's an error on their part. So far that thread has 45 posts. I'm glad that you are not having any problems with your cable, but please don't negate the problems that other customers are having. This problem has gone on long enough. Even though I'm not currently having those problems, I feel for the frustration the other COX customers are having.

Chris' generic answer not withstanding, your statement that "If an series has 5 shows in HD and only 3 with the regular,,, It's not a supplier issue. It's a cox issue" is still not logical. It is quite possible for a supplier to release a program in HD before it does so in SD. Whether or not that is what occurred in this instance is irrelevant to your statement and to my reply. As far as my reply to "on demant[sic] problems" (the OP) goes, I can't remember that Lifetime ever released "Witches of East End" to Cox's VideoOnDemand. So, I recommended that he contact Lifetime.
