I recently upgraded to Cox Premium service but have yet to get premium speeds. I am consistently getting 15-20 mbps. I spoke with a technician over chat and was not able to resolve the issue. He kept suggesting a technician be sent out. I want to make sure my account is setup correctly prior to having a technician come out and be charged. Help please.

What speeds do you receive if you test hardwired to the modem? What is the make/model of the modem?
Thank you,

Would it be possible to try those tests again without the router attached?

Is that the way you have it connected now? Could you try connecting a different device and see if you get the same results? Also try signing into your http://www.cox.com and run the speed test there under Internet Tools to see how your in network speeds look.

From this end everything appears to be as it should. It may be necessary at this point for a technician to come out and investigate further.

Thank you for the help. I am going to try a few things here before I decide to have a technician out.
