NO HD on Starz series on ONDEMAND.

I just swap out Cinemax for Starz hoping that I can catch their original programming on Ondemand.  I was really disappointed that all of their series are only  available in SD only. I have 65" TV and SD contents looks terrible on my screen. Come on Cox in these days and age where HD TV set is as cheap as dirt  that everybody can afford one. Why still giving us SD Channels and on Ondemand. All of those junk SD channels can spare a lot of Bandwidth  for good HD channels.

Looks like I won't be keeping Starz subscribtion for too long.

I just checked the box and I'm seeing Starz HD listed under the Premiums section.  Check there and see if you can find it.  If not, I'd suggest disconnecting power to the box for two minutes and reconnecting to see if a reset makes a difference. -Chris

Thanks for your suggestion ChrisL. I tried that. I unplugged it for a couple minutes. Plug back in and still nothing. Under Starz HD all I have listed are

All Movies

Black sails (which has nothing, I know the series hasn't started yet.)

But all the Starz original series are on Starz SD

I have Cox contour box which give me more HD channels than my old boxes. May be it's only available in certain area ? I live on the East Coast. Connecticut to be precise.

Could be a issue with the services assigned to the cable box. Maybe something required with Contour?  Might want to give Cox a call (or send a mod your account info)  so they can check. Also, a full reset signal to the cable box wouldn't hurt.

Checking again, this time looking for items you specifically mentioned I see none of those listed in HD.  HD versions aren't always made available for one reason or another, I'll put in a request on your behalf.

I do realize that certain HD contents on ONDEMAND expired for a certain period of time, that happened when I had Cinemax.  I'll wait maybe a month if they don't show up then I'll probably drop it. The reason I subscribe to it is because of their original programmings. HBO HD original contents are always there same as Showtime. Thanks for your help for looking into it. Greatly appreciate it.
