looks like it is the mini-box nonsense. FCC now allows TV providers to encrypt digital cable so they can charge their customers more for the same service. Brilliant.
The digital transition shouldn't affect the cablecard service. If you are now missing channels, we will need to trouble shoot to find a resolution. What type of device are you using? Do you have a tuning adapter connected? If so, how is it connected? Is the light solid on the adapter?
I'm using HD Homerun Prime, but I'm only using the TV starter package, so the channels I receive are digital clear QAM.. I did a channel scan this morning and I'm receiving zero unscambled channels.

That's no good! Are you still experiencing this? What area are you located?

Me too. I'm running HD Homerun Prime cable card. Was working just fine until I tried this morning. Have you been able to get this to work?

The only active equipment I am seeing on the account at this time is a modem. Please call your local office to resolve your video issues.

Correct. I will now have to add the decoder subscription to descramble the digital cable.

You don't have to get a mini box since you are using a HomeRun Prime. You can use a cablecard with or without the tuning adapter as an alternative.

What I have been told is that if I want to qualify for a cable card, I'd have to upgrade my TV service to a more expensive package.
