Can I move my cable/telephone/internet cox modem to another room in my house when I replace my old router?

The only way to tell, is to hook it up and try. It will depend on what kind of cable signal the cable outlet in that room is getting. I suggest comparing before and after moving the modem via the 192.168.100.1 diagnostic page.
