Modem Upgrade
Got a message on my Cox Bill telling me to Upgrade my Modem. Gave me a cox.com.upgrademymodem website address to go to and to upgrade DOCSIS 3.0. to get more efficient and higher speeds.
I've done this and there is no help or support ?????
What/How do I upgrade my Modem?

Not sure of the message you got, but there is no way to "upgrade" a modem, as in to turn a DOCSIS 2.0 (D2) modem into a DOCSIS 3.0 (D3) via a software upgrade. They meant upgrade as in trading your D2 modem for a D3 modem. Or a discount or something.
But I have noticed Cox has been sending the notice to people who already have D3 modem, or might not need the upgrade, like people on lower tiers.
What modem do you have now? The model number should be printed on a sticker on it. Also, what tier, or internet plan, do you have now?
