Missed recordings
I have been getting a rash of missed recordings recently. I have contour 6 which was recently replaced because of a letter I received from cox. The missed recordings error states "recording failed because the program could not be found in the guide". This show was set up as a series recording. How could it know that it was time to record but not record because it was not in the guide. I have had 15 missed recordings since February 1. And yes -- I rebooted the dvr.

Were these recordings programmed from the Host DVR? Is it happening on a particular series, or any channel? What is the % of the DVR available storage?

Only have one DVR. Several series. The last one was the "fear of the walking dead". Missed about 8 shows in the series. It also has happened with American Idol and several other series. Only have about 20% of the storage used.

After the hard reset completed, I'd recommend delete a scheduled series, and reprogram a "test" series recording to see if the recordings stick and share these findings with us. Thank you.
