MY CABLE BIL IS ALREADY ALMOST $70. I REMAMBER CABLE FOr $19 A MONTH. YOU GAVE ME A MONTHLY DISCOUNT AND AFTER 6 MONTHS YOU RAISED THE MONTHLY COST OF SERVIC. NOW YOU WANT TO CHARGE $6 FOR A BOX SO OU CAN MAKE THE TV WORK. THINK I AM PAYING ENOUGH FOR CABLE. MAKE THE BOX FREE FOREVER, BECAUSE YOU ARE CHANGING YOUR SERVICE DELIVERY METHOD, NOT ME AND I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO BEAR THE COST.

Oh yay, another random who is posting their complaints about the cost of VIDEO equipment in the INTERNET technical forum. The Mini-box is less than $3 per month, actually.

And they are yelling in caps, have never posted or helped another on the forum, and expect us to care. If you want, change to a provider that doesn't encrypt their signal...oh wait..

While a regular box is $8.99 a month, the mini is less than $3. The mini box was designed with minimal features in order to keep the costs as low as possible for our customers. Cox is one of the last providers to make the change to all digital. This change allows Cox to add more channels. A digital channel takes less bandwidth to get to your home than a non-digital or analogue channel. If you have additional questions regarding your account, please email us at cox.help@cox.com.
