Hi Kiki,

The following link will assist with finding the right code for your TV and includes steps on how to program.

Just click on your remote and choose your TV. There are also instructions for how to lock the volume to the TV. Let us know if you need additional assistance.

Thank you,

I've done that.   My tv is not listed on that list and looked up online.   Still doesn't work.  I have a Proscan tv.

Kiki,

Does the code 0047 work? This was what was listed for Proscan on URC support as the most likely one to work.

"Proscan" was made by three different manufacturers over the years, beginning with RCA. Somewhere on the TV should be a decal giving the manufacturer's name and the year of manufacturer. Until then, happy hunting.

Try Technicolor SA or Thomson SA.

I still can't program the remote for 2 of my 3 TVs and here is the problems I'm finding: The URC-2220 for the Mini Box doesn't have many of the codes for popular brands found in other Cox remotes (40 codes missing for Magnavox and none of the 3 codes listed in other Cox remotes for Admiral). There are even remote codes listed in 2220 manual that are not recognized by the remote itself. The codes listed in the manual but not recognized by the remote are 1080, 1561, 1678, 3492 and 3683. Code Search (Method B) doesn't even go through all 147 codes listed in the manual. I counted it going through about 60. I had to do all 147 manually to find out that no codes work for 2 of the 3 TVs I got mini-boxes for. I hope there will be a Cox Solution for these problems soon. It's becoming and irritant to you as well as to me.

I am having the same problem with the TVs that connect with the HDMI cable (one is Sony, the other,Toshiba) but not with two older televisions.

Hi CLK,

Just to clarify; you are able to get the Guide and change channels using the mini box remote control, but are unable to control the TV volume and power?
