Mini Box Purchase?
Can one purchase mini boxes instead of renting them? I am sure Cox would make renting the more appealing option, but I can't imagine these things are that complicated.. Anyone find if you can buy them elsewhere or is renting really the only option?

Cox does not allow the purchasing of any of their cable STBs and DVRs. You can look into 3rd party options like TIVO or the HD Homerun Prime
