Interpreting Data Usage Meter

When viewing my Cox Data Usage Meter, I notice that some of the daily graph bars are solid blue, while others have a white stripe.

For example, there is a solid blue bar showing for June 25, but there is a white stripe on the bar representing June 26.

What is the difference in meaning between the two measuring symbols?
