Internet Ultimate query
Hi,
I upgraded to a new Motorola SB6141 DOCSIS 3.0 modem and upgraded my internet service to the Ultimate package, but don't seem to see my data rates running faster. Downloading, I see at most about 30mbit/s and uploading doesn't go much faster than 2mbit/s. Is there something else necessary to enable the higher speeds with the modem?

When and how did you upgrade? Ultimate usually is/should be a professional install. Let me guess..front counter goon did it for you? First I would check the signal levels, and make sure they are in spec. Next, make sure you connecting direct to the modem for testing. Last, You may want to have a Cox employee check the configuration file on your modem. That dictates how fact your modem can go.
