HDMI Splitter

I have a contour (cisco) cable box (DVR, 6 tuner) with a single HDMI output. Can I use an HDMI splitter on this box to display on two TV's? If not, can I use an HDMI switch to switch the cable box output to either TV?

Hi fastscot,

If you try to connect any other TV to the receiver, both TVs will display the same channel. What are you trying to accomplish with your setup?

I want to be able to view TV in my family room or upstairs in my home theater. I have already tried a powered HDMI splitter and it works perfectly in both locations. Thanks
